The team has followed the three key important steps while optimizing the process of image loading in Spurtcommerce.
We have tested our Application by checking if a single server goes down, the load balancer redirects traffic to the remaining online servers. When a new server is added to the server group, the load balancer can automatically start sending requests to it.
We have tested the Application through the process of estimating the server performance in order to find if the server can serve sufficiently high work load. By keeping points of reference, we have derived at quantifiable results.
We have tested the database load balancing in Spurtcommerce and the load is balanced using a simple round-robin algorithm, without any external dependencies such as Redis. Load balancing is not enabled for Sidekiq as this would lead to consistency problems, and Sidekiq mostly performs writes anyway.
