Backorder
A backorder is an order for a good or service that cannot be filled at the current time due to a lack of available supply. The backorder is an indication that demand for a company's product outweighs its supply. They may also be known as the company's backlog.
Admin Panel ‣ Sales ‣ Backorders
- Backorders is created, when the Manage Stock icon is enabled in Inventory section for a particular product.
- This would allow the customer to order the product even if the stock is nil / zero.
- The list of Backorders will be piled up in Backorders section.
- This Backorders list provides the basic information like Customer Name, Product Name and Quantity ordered with Total Amount and when the Backorders was created.
